MARY GIBSEN

Mary's first job at UCSD was at the Medical School from 1978-1982. She then left to have a baby, but returned to UCSD in 1994 to work for Media Services. Mary now coordinates videoconferencing and distance learning classes. Mary and her husband Neal are both San Diego natives. Neal is an electronics engineer and works for Homeland Security. They have three children, Lisa, living in Franklin, TN; Jeffrey an engineer for the San Diego Fire Department; and Gregory a software engineer for Northrop Grumman. Mary's favorite pastime, besides hanging out with Neal and working on house projects, is spending time with her two beautiful granddaughters.
