ROBERTA CAPARAS
Roberta was raised in Southern California, but was born in Chicago, Illinois, and spent a fair amount of time there growing-up—she’s got a big jovial Chicago-style attitude to prove it! Before working at UCSD, Roberta worked at Ralphs Supermarket for 14 yrs. She then went back to school and received her A+ certification, and other computer certifications, and came to work at UCSD in 2001 where she is now an Information Associate for Media Services. Roberta is an avid golfer. She shoots an 82 about 50% of the time. She has a 4-year-old daughter who attends Montessori School. Although she is unmarried, her heart is definitely taken. Roberta and her better half have 3 dogs between them. One of their favorite things to do is take their dogs for long walks on the beach.
