• Always bring your AC adaptor (power supply).
• Laptops
are designed to run slower while on batteries to help conserve
power; using an AC adaptor will improve performance.
Also, your laptop is less likely to slow down or go to sleep
while “plugged in,” which is especially important when
you stay on
any one Power Point slide for extended periods.
• if your laptop uses an external display adaptor, bring it or you won’t
be able to connect the projector!
• If it is an Apple PowerBook or iBook model made within the last three
years, it will require an adaptor.
• Some compact Windows laptops also rely on adaptors to provide the correct
output.
• The appropriate adaptor will be packaged with each new laptop
that requires one.
